Founded in 1984, Hyundai pharmaceuticals Central Researdch Center worked to develop new drugs and technologies. Moved to Digital Industrial Complex in Guro-Dong of Seoul from Chun-ahn provided advanced communication and preferable work environment which enabled a leap in R&D. Through this transfer of the Central Research Center, researchers have opportunity to carry out their research 24 hrs with the latest equipments. And with compensation system based on research outcome, R&D competitiveness is greatly inspired.
Hyundai Central Research Center will concentrate to strengthen international competitiveness for opening up a global market through developing biotechnology, unique new products and new dosage forms. Having this goal, we succeeded in developing peptide treatment drug by hiring excellent researcher and equipping the laboratories with latest research tools. Using this technique, we developed next-generation new substance which will substitute currently existing product in the market, FMOC-amino acids as a raw material of Solid Phase Peptide synthesis. Not only that, we developed pregnancy tester “Barotest” and AFP (protopathic liver cancer marker) with technologies developed internally.
Due to current demends, Hyundai Central Research Center concentrates on commercializable research and development putting its focus on new drug form development, biomedicine development and new product development. Recruiting distinguished personnel, investments centered in R&D, industrial-educational cooperation with national and international universities, strengthened global researching network with internationally eminent scholars and out-sourcing will lead us to develop innovative new medicine penetrating into global market and to improve the quality of human health.
